A four-hands piano recital by Italian pianists Fernanda Raponi (left) and Andreina Nascani was held at the Gozo Ministry last Monday.

The pianists, who hail from Latina, a town close to Rome, performed works by Schubert, Rossini, Bizet, Saint-Saens and Alessandro Barone.

Nascani and Raponi completed their studies for a piano master at the Conservatorio di Musica L. Refice, Frosinone, Italy, following which they formed a piano duo, giving concerts in Italy and abroad.

The director of the Italian Cultural Institute Bruno Busetti was instrumental in making the concert possible.
