A steady stream of people turned up at Maghtab this morning to view the waste management facilities at the former dump.

Visitors, who are being taken around in vans, are being shown the facility used to collect gases from the waste buried in the dump, the current procedures for waste disposal, and an exhibition of plans on how the site is to be turned into a leisure area.
