Austin Gatt the minister who was responsible for Enemalta when it awarded the power station extension contract, has insisted that the Auditor-General was mistaken to have said that the chairman of Enemalta should have resigned over a potential conflict of interest.

He said the chairman had acted in line with the law and the code of ethics.
