And why should Zabbar differ from any other Village in Malta or Gozo?

What TRW O' Neill said!
I would like to add that the state of that road can be lethal to a motorcyclist.

This is because the Pope did not pass through these roads. Sliema road in San Gwann is only partially tarmaced and this is also becuase his excellency's journey was not routed through these roads. I suggest we re-invite the Pope over once again and ensure he passes from some major roads that probably deserved a new surface more than many core village roads.

The reason is that Zabbar have a very unprofesional Labour Local Council who's main aim is to leave this town as it is, so that people can blame the government!
Zabbarin.. wake up to the truth..

I think Mr Zammit you should wake up to the truth. The truth is that the main roads leading to Zabbar are just horrible. Moreover, main roads are the responsibility of the central government and not of the local councils. So next time, know the facts before making such non-sense comments.

I live in Zabbar and I have to say that the two main roads leading to Zabbar cannot be called such because they are the two worst roads on the island. When is the Local Council going to do something about them? We have been in this situation for years and years.

As a result of the hard frosts we have had since December in England we have many potholes, but the local (Chester) council has highlighted them for repair.
I now tell my wife whilst driving and dodging potholes that I am practicing for Malta when I get there next month.

It should be clear from the photograph that the damaged road is a result of the shoddy work done by the Water Sevices Corp', most of the potholes in most towns are caused by bad work done by WSC , or Work Shy Cowboys, to give them their real name. The amazing thing is no Councillor or Mayor ever brings this to the bosses of WSC.In Mosta for the Popes visit . Tax payers money was spent patching up sunken trenches & manhole covers, which costs should have been borne by WSC. Who caused the potholes. Often the repairs sink in just a few hours. SHAME on WSC, & double SHAME on the Concillors who allow it.QED.
