Icon launches Chamber's new website

Web development company Icon has launched a new, smart and user-friendly website for the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry, helping the Malta Chamber to enhance its presence online.

"We firmly believe that a website should be the most important communication tool with our members and the public," said Chamber president Helga Ellul. "In fact, the website is an ongoing project which, in the future, will offer further interactivity between our organisation and members, as well as among the members themselves."

Helping to create that interactivity, Icon incorporated their highly effective ICON.snap Content Management System, as well as its efficient newsletter tool, ICON.e-news.

"We originally chose Icon based on their proven track record for a well-designed and impressive end product," said Mrs Ellul.

"On a practical level we wanted to utilise the site to keep members informed of our recent positions, as well as latest developments on issues of concern.

"We also wanted to tie the site in with the rebranding of the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry. And additionally, to help create awareness of the services and benefits offered by it in terms of business development, internationalisation and active participation within the organisation on both sectoral and thematic levels."

Now that the site is live, Mrs Ellul said she was pleased that this important project has been successfully accomplished.

"This is a successful result, through the creation of a smart and user-friendly product. It is an excellent online step forward for us."
