An 18th century fountain along Saqqajja Hill in Rabat has been restored by the government's Restoration Unit workers. The fountain was commissioned by Grand Master Antonio Manoel de Vilhena and lies on the site of a natural spring. During the 17th century, the spring was connected to the aqueduct built by Grand Master Wignacourt which conveyed water to Valletta.
