Private care provider for the elderly Care Malta Group has launched its recruitment process for Roseville, its new €5 million home for the elderly.

Roseville, in St Anthony Street, Attard, which will be officially launched on June 4.

Care Malta, which operates seven facilities across Malta and employs over 500 people, is seeking to recruit a large variety of personnel, including a facility co-ordinator, physiotherapists, receptionists, qualified nurses, care assistants, kitchen assistants, cleaners and laundry assistants.

Care Malta's CEO Natalie Briffa Farrugia said Roseville will be providing up to 100 jobs, between full-time and part-time positions: "In line with the group's strategy to offer the best service to the elderly, we are keen to recruit qualified and dedicated staff.

"We are looking forward to continue strengthening the large team of professionals that form the backbone of the group."

Roseville is a scheduled building and Care Malta has invested significant resources and finances in its restoration. The interior of the house is also notable for its Egyptian-inspired decoration, with motifs based on the Egyptology style.

The house was built in two phases; the ground floor was built in 1912 by architect Alessandro Manara and the first floor was added in 1921 by architect Emanuele Borg in the same architectural style of the ground floor.
