One way traffic on Valletta ring road
Traffic along the Valletta ring road will be one way this afternoon because of the Papal visit.
Valletta local council said traffic will enter Valletta from Great Siege Road along the Excelsior Hotel and emerge near Valletta Waterfront. There will be no access from the ring road to other roads in Valletta except for Valletta residents, who will be required to produce the residents' permit issued by the council.
The arrangements will apply between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m

@ Pamela Hansen
why can't I go by car (personal) to hear mass at Ta' Giezu this evening ? cause there's a great event, involving probably the greatest guest we can ever get as a country vivisting us and which only happens probably once every twenty years happening around Valletta at the same time....and its not the 'commercial event' Notte Bianca, which makes it also virtually impossible to enter Valletta by private car.....come on, let's live and let live in this country !

That means I will have no access to visit my elderly mother in Valletta, since I am not a Valletta resident,
