well said c.borg. They jump into conclusions and I guess they don't even know about this dangerous stretch of road.

I know of only Germany that has or used to have rules regarding trucks and other heavy vehicles on the road on a Sunday and I believe that ran from 1200hrs on a Saturday until 2359hrs on the Sunday.

Please don't jump into conclusions. This stretch of road is very dangerous as cars/vans etc gets out from the road leading to the valley without even noticing there is a STOP roadmarking. The truck was on his side. And the last thing there is nothing written on the insurance policy or road licence that trucks cannot be driven on Sundays. They pay their road licence triple what you pay for your car!!!!

What sort of comment is this? Mela accidents happen only on Sunday?? And if we ban trucks from driving on Sunday does this mean that we won't have any more accidents??

A life appears to have been lost needlessly. May the Lord comfort all the faithful in this sad and difficult moment.
