I hope this man makes a full recovery after his awfull accident, I'm surprised though that more accidents don't happen on this stretch of road, cars, trucks, and motorbikes are forever speeding and over taking either heading to Siggiewi or towards Zebbug and Qormi, we have even seen route bus drivers speeding along here sometime whilst on mobile phones, something needs to be done about this road with the summer coming it can get very dusty and also greasy with oil, maybe the police could set up speed traps along here ?.

So... most of us have noted that an amount of roadworks have been carried out in anticipation of our beloved pope's visit.... I guess one would have to wait for Lance Armstrong to visit our island before proper cycling lanes are introduced....

It's a motorcycle not a bicycle!!
No country in the world has separate lanes for cars and for motorcycles. Unlike Malta, motorists in other countries usually exercise caution and restraint when they share the road with motorcycles. Stop blaming everything on "the government" and start taking responsibility for your actions. That is how the real world operates.

This was a motorcylce accident....they don't use cycle lanes.....& he collided in a truck coming from the opposite direction...so in other words what does cycle lanes have anything to do with this article?
