All registered University students, teaching staff and registered borrowers can borrow books against their library borrowing card. Borrowed books must be returned by not later than the date due, stamped on the book during the issuing transaction. A system of fines on overdue books is in operation.

Books needed for periods longer than those stipulated in the library regulations can be renewed at the Circulation Desk, unless the item is already needed by another borrower. Anyone wishing to reserve a book currently on loan to another borrower may do so at the Circulation Desk by quoting the copy number in question. Copy numbers can be traced from the catalogues on the OPAC. Such books, once returned, are set aside for 10 days to await collection by the interested party.

Students with questions or suggestions on this or any other issue may e-mail KSU vice-president Matthew Paris on vicepresident@ksu.org.mt.
