Autism Awareness Month

The University's Speech-Language Department has joined other countries in creating an awareness campaign on autism spectrum disorders marked by a series of activities during April, which is World Autism Awareness month.

Mozart and the Whale, a film about autism, will be screened at the University on April 21, followed by a discussion.

Autism spectrum disorders are a group of developmental conditions involving difficulties in communication, social interaction and imagination, behaviour and play.
