One national record and three age group records were broken by Team Malta swimmers under the guidance of national coach Andy Colbourn during Day Two of the ASA International Swim Meet at Tal-Qroqq, on Friday.
In the 200m breaststroke race, Andrea Agius clocked 2.32.06 to improve on his own national record of 2.32.66.
In the same race, Daniel Galea also continued to improve his own Age Group D record when he clocked 2.32.72, lowering his previous timing of 2.34.81.
Following the record he set on Thursday, Mark Sammut added another Age Group D best timing to his name when he swam the 200m freestyle in 2.00.40 to erase the record set by Kyle Scerri (in Spain in 2005) which was 2.01.78.
Finally, Nikki Muscat, again in Age Group D level, improved on her own 50m backstroke record when she clocked 31.91, to improve on her previous timing of 32.08.
