The legal documentation section of the National Archives at the Banca Giuratale in Mdina will be open to the public during the Mediaeval Mdina fest today and tomorrow.

The major attractions are the National Portrait Archive, consisting of photos of Maltese personalities by photographer Tony S. Mangion, a new permanent exhibition showing Malta during World War II as witnessed by war veteran Stanley Fraser, and an eight-minute video shot by Mr Fraser and edited by Veronica Galea.

In addition, film footage from the Department of Information archives will also be shown.

National Archives staff and members of the Friends of the National Archives will be on site to guide visitors, explain the work of the archives and distribute information material.

Opening hours will be from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
