Zheng Mingsheng (left), a former doctor, being shown photographs of his crime prior to sentencing at a court in Nanping, in China's Fujian province yesterday. Mr Zheng was given the death penalty for fatally stabbing eight children outside their school, as he admitted to "intentionally killing" the children on March 23 at the gate of the Nanping Experimental Elementary School after he was jilted by a woman.
