A former prisoner who threatened to plant a bomb in a police inspector’s car once released was this morning jailed again for four months.
Alexander Gialanze’ Whiteford, 27, was recorded telling his partner that he would plant a bomb under the police inspector’s car once he was released from prison.
He also pleaded guilty to threatening a police officer, using vulgar language and misusing telephone technology.
Magistrate Giovanni Grixti jailed the man for four months and ordered him not to molest the police inspector and his family against a fine of €2,000.
