A group of 25 swimmers from the clubs of Neptunes and IASIS, aged between 12 and 21, recently took part in the Titze-Cup 2010, held in Berlin. More than 45 clubs from Germany, Qatar, Ireland, Poland and the Czech Republic competed in this meet.

The Neptunes swimmers won one gold medal, six silver and six bronze. Amy Micallef bettered her 100m breaststroke age-group record when clocking 1:25.52.

Numerous personal best times were registered in Berlin as the swimmers, under the guidance of Neptunes coach Gail Rizzo, attained the objectives they set before this international swim-meet.

The attention of local swimmers now turns to the Malta Easter International Swim Meet, starting tomorrow at the National Pool Complex.
