Four players handed one-match ban

Valletta captain Gilbert Agius will miss his team's FA Trophy semi-final after receiving a one-match ban today.

Agius has been suspended after he was sent off for two yellow cards in Valletta's 3-1 win over Birkirkara in last Saturday's quarter-final.

Qormi striker Alfred Effiong and Ian Zammit, the Hamrun Spartans forward, have also been ruled out of the semi-finals after both saw red in the quarter-finals.

Brazilian midfielder Pedrinho, the fourth player to get a one-match ban after his red card in the first half of his side's 5-2 defeat to Hamrun Spartans, will serve his suspension in Friday's Premier League match against Birkirkara as the Wanderers, the holders, have been knocked out the FA Trophy.
