Tarxien forward Denni completes treble of individual awards

Tarxien Rainbows' talented playmaker Denni Rocha Dos Santos has completed a treble of BOV player of the month awards after being named best player for March.

The Brazilian also claimed this honour in October and January in what has been a memorable season for him and his club.

After securing a place in the Championship Pool, the Rainbows continued to produce commendable performances last month.

In their last league outing, Tarxien had the better of rivals Hibs 2-0 in the derby, Dos Santos netting both goals.

Last month, Tarxien's run in the National League 100 Anniversary 100 Cup was ended by Valletta who beat the Rainbows 3-1 after extra-time.

Denni is a livewire in his team's attacking mechanism and it is no wonder that his influential displays have earned him recognition from football journalists who report BOV Premier League matches.

Charles Grech Soler, manager of BOV's Paola branch, presented the player of the month trophy to Denni who chose the Ursuline Sisters of Tarxien to receive from the donation related to this award.
