Police yesterday arrested two men in connection with a burglary at a house in Mdina.

The police were informed that a house in Imħażen Street was being burgled at around midday.

Several officers immediately made their way to the area and searched the premises before arresting a 40-year-old from Żebbuġ and a 35-year-old from Qormi.

A police spokesman could not confirm whether anything had been stolen from the house or if the men are to be charged.

Magistrate Lawrence Quintano held an onsite inquiry.
