Ronan Keating, who is performing at the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre at Ta’ Qali this evening, arrived at Malta international airport this afternoon.

The Irish blue-eyed blond, joined Boyzone 17 years ago when he was 16. The band split in 2000 and Keating launched a successful solo career.

Ever since selling in excess of half a million copies with his first single, Keating has gone on to record a number of ballads and love anthems including Life Is A Rollercoaster, When You Say Nothing At All, Once Upon A Lifetime, If Tomorrow Never Comes and others.

His latest album, Songs For My Mother, is already a massive hit with fans and was recorded together with a band and a live orchestra in memory of his late mother.

To date Keating has released five solo albums, three of which went straight to number one. He is also listed in the Guinness Book Of Records for being the only artist ever to have 30 consecutive top 10 singles in the UK chart, having beat the likes of Elvis. He sold in excess of 22 million albums across the world.

Tonight’s concert kick’s off this year’s musical calendar with an evening featuring his most loved successes. Malta is the last stop in Keating’s Songs For My Mother Tour, which kicked off on November 5 with a performance to a packed hall in New Zealand. He also performed in Scotland, Ireland, England and Germany.

Keating has been brought to Malta by NnG Promotions.
