Obituary

AGIUS. On March 29, at Mater Dei Hospital, WENZA of Siġġiewi, residing at Mosta, aged 81, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Katie and her husband Tommy Busuttil, Mary and her husband Charlie Saliba, Reno and his wife Anna, Anġlu and his wife Carmen, her grandchildren Stephen, Richard, Gerald, Lorraine, Rainier, Nevil and John, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 3 p.m. for Mosta parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Mosta parish cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares Children's Cancer Support Group, Rainbow Ward, Mater Dei Hospital, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

BALDACCHINO. On March 30, at his residence, RONALD of Sliema, aged 63, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sisters and brothers, Marlene, widow of Hector Mifsud, Alfred and his wife Maria, Alex, widower of Antoinette Blackman, Tessie and her husband Alfred Magro, Dorothy and her son Wallace, Dennis and his wife Isabelle, Adrian and his wife Nathalie, Doris, widow of his brother Saviour, and Grace, widow of his brother Herbert, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves his residence today at 1.30 p.m. for Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

CASSAR. On March 29, at her residence in Sliema, MARIA, née Borg, widow of Salvatore, aged 83, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her children Joe and his wife Anna, Pauline, widow of her son George, Anna, Mary, John and his wife Rosella, her beloved grandchildren Andrew, Karla, Daniel, Lawrence, Roberto, Andrea and Marco, her in-laws, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 9.30 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

Car Reported Stolen

A metallic grey Toyota Corolla XL saloon, registration number FAS 294, was reported stolen from Rabat on Monday. Anyone with any information on the car's whereabouts can call the Rabat police station on 2145 4554.
