Sweet touch
Three kilogrammes of pure almond filling and over four kilogrammes of sweet pastry went into a figolla made by Marco Fenech, chef owner of Inspirations! at St James Cavalier, Valletta. Mr Fenech said he followed a recipe passed on to him by his mother. The figolla measures 75cm by 50cm.

I love almonds, this makes me feel very hungry indeed, reading and seeing this in London!
It looks and, I am sure, tastes delicious. Cant wait to try some when I am back in Malta.
