Waiting for judgment

A fox terrier waits for its owner outside the law courts, Valletta. It stood there patiently for 20 minutes and even ignored the police inspector who attempted to shoo it away.

I am Maltese by birth and have been living in theUK for quite sometime now, however Jerry Gatt you are very right my friend what you say, Maltese dogs are a different breed apart, but on a sour note comparing ours with the British dogs, they tend to be rather nasty and come on as unfriendly just like their or some of their football fans especially in the London area mostly, and when the Britis. are abroad can't trust the bleeders. sorry but its a fact of life and not far wrong from the truth, thank God i am back in Malta for good with real people that i could call friends, just like the little dog in the picture. A good article and a nice picture must admit. well done Times of Malta a paper worth reading.

I don't know what it is or why, but i find that for some reason or another the Maltese dogs mostly mixed breed are more loyal and obitient then most dogs i have come across in the UK or aywhere in europe. I think they seem to sence that the Maltese and the Gozitans are a friendly nation and tend to follow their example, but in the UK well thats a different story which i would not like to adlib. the might be offended. tough luck

A friend gave us a collar-dove which we housed in a big chicken-coop. Feeling sorry for her, after a few weeks, we set her free. The following day she returned and now flies freely in our garden. She’s such an adorable and friendly pet that when she sees one of us she comes standing on our shoulder. She is now part of the family and we named her Fifi.
