Persons struck off the unemployment register this year

A total of 105 unemployed persons were struck off from the employment registration list last January and 69 were struck off in February.

Social Policy Minister Dolores Cristina said 16 were removed after being caught working, 125 had refused an opportunity for work and 33 refused to accept training.

Mrs Cristina was answering Labour MP Chris Agius.
