Enemalta planning to sell 9,000 surplus meters

9,000 electricity meters bought by Enemalta in 2008 have remained unused and will be sold after a call for tenders, Finance Minister Tonio Fenech said in Parliament.

Replying to a parliamentary question, he said the meters are not being used because of the programme for the installation of Smart meters.

The electronic meters had cost Enemalta €178,489.

As usual Martinelli from far-away Canada has to lie about PL to defend his pn government. The fact is that the INCOMPETENT Enemalta top brass were appointed by the equally INCOMPETENT Eddie Fenech Adami and Gonzi and they are responsible for all the mess our country is in. Why don't you come back to Malta and enjoy the pinch Martinelli? Then perhaps your comments and defense of the indefensible may perhaps be taken with a sack of salt, maybe, perhaps.

That is what has been happening my friend. We are being ROBBED by the Enemalta and the Government INCOMPETENTS. p.s. remember that apart from this we have to pay for the wastage of water and electricity by the thousands of illegal immigrants.
