One wind turbine at Kings Langley (Herts UK) generates about 170,000 Kwh of zero-emissions electricity annually. How useful would a few of these be in a place like Marsa or Buleben industrial estates? This was in my neighbourhood and I considered it an attractive addition to the local skyline especially when viewed from the M25.
Might there not also be a case for considering harnessing the energy of thermals constantly available at Dingly cliffs?
