• The Seħer il-Punent festival by Għarb council will be held today. The activities will start with band marches by the Għaqda Mużikali Vizitazzjoni along Church Street, Għarb, at 9.15 a.m. A strawberry market, complemented with folk entertainment, will be held in the main square, followed by a motorcyclists' get-together. A dancing marathon will kick off at 1 p.m. Exhibitions, cultural walking tours (includin a visit to a vineyard and wine tasting) and a re-enactment of Il-Qiegħa by Tal-Qiegħa Folk Group will also be held. The evening programme will include singers Claudette Pace, J. Anvil, Olivia Lewis and Georgina and the final session of the tug of war competition. Thea Garrett, the winner of this year's Malta Euro Song Contest will take part.

• New In Town will be screened at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30 p.m.

• Ta' Frenċ restaurant, in collaboration with Caruana and Cini Ltd and Camilleri Paris Mode, will hold a wedding fair at the restaurant today from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• A Way of the Cross, led by Gozo Bishop Mario Grech, will take place from Ta' Pinu Sanctuary to Għammar Hill today at 6.30 p.m.

• Xagħra Scout group is holding a car wash at Ġgantija parking today between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Donations will be appreciated.

• Spiritual exercises by Fr Rene Camilleri for separated people and for those in a second relationship will be held at Dar Manresa, Victoria, from tomorrow to Thursday between 7 and 7.45 p.m. Babysitters will be in attendance.

• The Eden Foundation (Gozo) is holding an art and antique furniture exhibition in Republic Street, Victoria, from today to April 15 between 10 a.m. and 6.45 p.m.

• On Friday, feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, Masses at St James church, Victoria, will be held every hour between 6 a.m. and 1 p.m. Bishop Grech will celebrate Mass on the church parvis at 6.30 p.m., after which he will lead a penitential procession with the statue of Our Lady of Sorrows.

• The feast of the Annunciation will be celebrated at the chapel in Lunzjata Valley, Victoria, on Thursday. There will be Mass at 6.15 a.m. and on the hour between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. and at 6.30 p.m. Bishop Grech will concelebrate Mass at 5 p.m., followed by a Eucharistic celebration.

• The Victoria Padre Pio Prayer Group will be organising a prayer meeting at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Graces, Victoria, on Wednesday at 5.30 p.m. The meeting starts with meditated rosary followed by Mass at 6 p.m.

• The Ekoskola committees of Agius de Soldanis and Ninu Cremona secondary schools in Victoria are organising an activity on Wednesday where students will collect used batteries from households and establishments in Savina, San Ġorġ, Kaditral, Palm and Republic streets between 8.30 and 10 a.m.

• On March 31 the Gozo Sports Complex will be holding a racket tournament, including table and lawn tennis, squash and badminton competitions. Application forms can be collected from the reception desk at the Gozo Sports Complex, Victoria, from Monday to Sunday during office hours.

• A Way of the Cross for youths will take place from Ta' Pinu Sanctuary to Għammar Hill on Saturday at 6.30 p.m.

• The St Margaret V.M. Musical Society of Sannat will give a Lenten concert at St Margaret V.M. parish church, Sannat, on Thursday at 6.45 p.m. Entrance is free.

• Bishop Nikol Cauchi will deliver a Lenten talk at the Circolo Goziano's premises 6 Sir Adrian Dingli Street, Victoria, on Friday at 8 p.m. The public is invited.
