Luxury motor yacht manufacturer Fairline Boats has launched its new Squadron flybridge motor yachts.

The first in a series of new models, the Squadron 55 is one of Fairline's most successful boat launches to date, with 35 boats sold from early drawings alone.

Last December marked a significant milestone for Fairline, when its 12,000th hull went into production.

The 16.97 metre length hull is being built at the yacht builder's Nene Valley factory in the UK for a Squadron 55 model. Key features of the three-cabin Squadron 55 include a full width master cabin amidships and a spacious flybridge.

The new Squadron 65 was recently awarded the Motor Boat of the Year Award 2010 in the 'Flybridges over 55 feet' category.

The four-cabin Squadron is highly finished and offers owners sophisticated, spacious living areas where to relax and entertain.

The next addition to the range will be the Squadron 41 flybridge motor yacht, which will be available this summer. It is anticipated that this model will arrive to Malta early next year.

Demand has been strong, with 'all of 2010 production as well as over half of 2011 production retail sold to date'. The smallest in the Squadron range, the two-cabin, two ensuite Squadron 41 is still 'every inch a Squadron'.

Fairline's design team has created a flybridge motor yacht that offers some of the largest accommodation areas on a boat of this size with every available space utilised and maximised. The same sense of space and 'big boat' luxury is further enhanced by the extra large flybridge and the openness of the cockpit.

The Fairline boat-building heritage spans over 40 years and began as a company with modest beginnings that went on to become one of the finest luxury motor yacht manufacturers in the world.

Fairline will be introducing one of its largest and most comprehensive line-ups over the next five years, with 15 models from 35 to 85 feet.
