A father and son were yesterday charged with slightly injuring a man and damaging his car in St Paul's Bay on Thursday night.
Victor Galea, 44, and his son Colin, 18, were also charged with breaking the public peace and using foul language outside Chris Bar and Restaurant, in Triq Il-Kaħli, where they allegedly assaulted Ronnie Mckay and vandalised his Opel Astra.
They pleaded not guilty and defence lawyers Franco Debono and Marion Camilleri asked for bail. Police Inspector Therese Sciberras, prosecuting, did not object and Magistrate Joseph Apap Bologna released the two on bail against a personal guarantee of €1,000.
