A 30-year-old motorcyclist was badly injured yesterday when his bike ended up under a car in Mġarr.

Johann Deguara, of Mosta, was driving a Honda CBR motorcycle along Sir Temi Zammit Street when he was involved in a collision with a Toyota Hilux, driven by a 53-year-old Gozitan woman.

According to the police, the bike, with Mr Deguara still in the seat, kept going and finished under a Toyota Prius that was being parked by a 47-year-old Mtarfa man.

Mr Deguara was rushed to hospital where he was certified to be suffering serious injuries but was not in a critical condition.

The other two drivers were unhurt.

The bike was extensively damaged.
