Mepa to analyse shooting ranges policy
Over the next few weeks and months Mepa will be analysing a policy about shooting ranges, among other items.
Answering a parliamentary question by Opposition Whip Joe Mizzi, Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi said there was currently one pending application for setting up a shooting range.
During the analysis the government would be consulting with both governmental and non-governmental entities.

I do not agree at all with a national Shooting Complex. Permits should be granted to Private Ranges, where as another has already commented, a shooter could be given his money's worth and personal attention as a paying client, and not judged as to whether he is a potential 'champion' or a 'nobody'!!!!!! Private Ranges. Pay, shoot, salute friends and go your way!!!!

National Range - National range Sorry, but there are other clubs that excist, try to remember,. those that your club members refuse to shoot at your ranges.
We need somewhere where predigism ends - we need private ranges, where you are treat like a client an have a right to a service.

thanks god. perhaps one day we can consider that we have what we deserve. A national shooting complex that would attract hundreds of international shooters to our island. This would be a boost for sports tourism. Cyprus is flooding with international shooters.
A national shooting complex with all diciplines would benefit for our sporting standards.
