Access to Valletta
Could anyone in charge of logistics with regard to the Valletta City Gate project enlighten us on how access will be rerouted both in and out of the commercial zones and the upper Valletta residential zones? It is an urgent matter, as many business owners would want to print maps on the back of flyers. Also, residents living in the City Gate building and all along Hastings and South Street are anxious to find out about the temporary access and later on about a permanent solution.

Has nobody realised that withthe new transport project that is with direct routes from village to village Valleta would be losing out on its daily visitors.
I think the projects in the pipeline including the mad project of a roofless theatre and a parliament at its very entrance would have the same result that we had with the present l965 project of the entrance.
This country is run by amateurs: why surely Advocates doctors and architects become overnight politicians. What would one expects from people like these.

Dear Paul Borg, I have been asking this question from day one that this stupid project has been launched. The problem is not to GO OUT of Valletta, because it can be done. The outskirts can be used. The major problem is to GO IN, especially the delivery vehicles, once that Pope Puis V is going to be abolished. Now let start, by enter from Castille down to St. Paul Street, impossible, from Castille to Merchants Street, turn first on Melita Street, can be done, but when coming to go uphill at Old Bakery street, to deliver north of Valletta,it is impossible. If from Castille go down from South Street, to go to Old Bakery street, will be a problem, because the exhaust pipe of the trucks are on the left, and you will find a "cuc " that when he comes parallel with the tennis court, eee sorry the theater with no roof, he will press hard on the clutch and gas pedals, and those in the theater will be up in smoke. The rest do not try to figure out any other way.
