FXB launches Econetique green energy solutions

After 120 years of continuous innovation, furniture manufacturer and retailer FXB Group is entering a new sector by launching Econetique, a company specialising in the provision of eco-friendly industry supplies.

"The spiralling cost of fuel and the adverse effects on our environment in recent years have spurred a reassessment of energy requirements.

"This is where Econetique identifies itself with its proposition to promote forward eco-thinking and eco-friendly solutions that favour a greener environment," group managing director Joseph Borg explained.

Econetique was showcased at the HSBC Malta Property Expo earlier this month when the brand displayed a range of products and solutions contributing to the creation of an eco-friendly mentality at planning and construction stages.

The range included thermal insulating material produced from environment-friendly substances, insulated concrete formwork, a construction system using insulated concrete slabs, solar films for glass doors and windows, solar light pipes, energy-saving and integrated lighting systems, LED street lighting and photovoltaic systems, and the innovative vertical axis wind turbines.
