April 28 - 29, European Patent Forum 2010, Madrid.

This two-day conference is aimed at uncovering Europe's renewable energy-technology strengths and weaknesses, finding out whether European industry is still in the race to lead the green boom, and whether political spending and policy support are adequate for the tasks at hand. During the conference, the first results of the study Patents And Clean Energy jointly conducted by the European Patent Office, the United Nations Environment Programme and the International Centre for Trade and Development, will be announced. To help bridge the gap between evidence and policy, the three organisations will present data on, and insights into, the relationship between patents and the development and transfer of clean energy technologies.

The deadline for registration is March 31.
