World's shortest man dies

He Pingping, the world's shortest man at just over two feet five inches tall (75 centimetres), has died. He was 21.

He -- a native of China who had a form of primordial dwarfism -- was in Rome taking part in a television show when he suffered chest problems.

This picture shows him holding onto the finger of the world’s tallest man, Sultan Kösen during the launch of the Guinness World Records live roadshow in Istanbul.
