In the item that appeared last Saturday under the heading Notary Convicted Again, Gets Interdiction, it was reported that Sandro Schembri Adami was given a fifth suspended jail term and a general interdiction after pleading guilty to defrauding 16 people out of €73,292.48.

It must be pointed out that Magistrate Audrey Demicoli also ordered Dr Schembri Adami to pay the money due to each person within six months.

The omission is regretted.
