Restaurateur accused of resisting the police
Frankie Grima, 52 of St Julians was arraigned in court under arrest this afternoon and charged with violently resisting Superintendent Stephen Gatt in an incident early yesterday at Plush Bar, in Paceville.
Mr Grima, who owns the bar, was also accused of disobeying police orders, breaching public peace and relapsing.
He is alleged to have pushed the officer after he ordered the music to be turned down.
Mr Grima pleaded not guilty and was granted bail against a deposit of €1,000 and a personal guarantee of €2,000.

whats the point in turning down the music in paceville?? especially in that area where plush is found. i think its totally absurd as no one lives in the area were the club is. the 4 am law doesn't make sense when the clubs are either sound-proof or do not disturb anyone like in the case of the heart of paceville (burger king area)
