Cannabis seized at AFM checkpoint

A quantity of cannabis was found and seized during a vehicle checkpoint mounted by the AFM near Zabbar last night. A 33-year old man from Zebbug was detained after cannabis joints and blocks were found in his car.

The man was observed behaving apprehensively on approaching the checkpoint, the AFM said.

He has been handed over to the police for questioning.
