New Domestica showroom featured in international publication
The new Domestica showroom set to open in a few months was recently featured in a specialised international publication compiled by celebrated Italian architect Enzo Eusebi. Eusebi, who created the architectural concept for this showroom, is hailed for his technical mastery and his creative approach.
The publication, entitled Non solo, presents a carefully chosen collection of Eusebi's most intriguing works, among which we find the new Domestica showroom, which will serve as a showcase to some of the top home interior brands available in Malta.
The 3,000 square metre showroom will incorporate extensive display areas, a show apartment and parking facilities, only 200 metres away from Domestica's current premises in Valley Road, Msida.
"Eusebi is renowned for his ability to combine technical expertise and creativity. This will be the hallmark of our new showroom. As part of Domestica's brand portfolio, we show some of the most exclusive home brands, such as the famed Kartell, Berloni, Guzzini and the recently-acquired sofa brand Nicoletti, among others. Eusebi's creation is a fitting home for these brands," said Chris Vassallo Cesareo, managing director of Domestica.
Describing the showroom in his book, Eusebi explains how the concept had to work with, and complement, the residential surroundings of Msida. In a sneak preview of the landmark building, the book reveals details of large, macro-eye window chisels and a daring, oblique façade.
Eusebi is a native of Italy's Marche region and is considered as the standard bearer of a new style of architectural culture, a halfway house between the Italian provinces and the broad stage of China's megalopoli. Together with his work group, Nothing Studio, he has built up an impressive portfolio of experience in various fields, ranging from architecture to urban planning, product design and interior design.
