Yellow Pages (Malta) acquires website development company

Yellow Pages (Malta) Ltd has recently acquired a leading website development company in a bid to continue in its upward growth trend. Zheta Ltd, now renamed Zheta International Limited, was chosen as the company to buy out, from a selection of other similar companies which were close to fitting into Yellow Pages' requirements.

While in this strategic move, Yellow Pages (Malta) Ltd is buying out Zheta Ltd, Zheta's original owner and originator, Jason Mallia, will be retaining a lead managerial role within the company's structure. Mr Mallia commented that by affiliating with Yellow Pages (Malta) Ltd, "Zheta will provide greater support to our customers, enabling us to more fully develop our creative expertise and more rapidly expand our client base".

The web development company had, since its establishment in 2002, forged a unique and creative niche for itself, servicing both the local market as well as operating in the Netherlands and Germany.

Niki Soler, Yellow Pages' managing director, said: "We were attracted to this company because for Zheta image is paramount. It has proved itself through its ability to create tailor-made concepts, thanks also to extremely careful website research. Moreover, it boasts impressive client portfolios and has received a number of important awards over the years."

Mr Soler said that this move has been a major step forward for the company and will help to consolidate the website product development which Yellow Pages (Malta) Ltd is offering to companies advertising on the directory. "We had a good selection of similar companies to choose from, but we opted for this one for a number of good reasons."

Yellow Pages (Malta) Ltd. is a subsidiary of the Ark Publishing Group. It has been publishing the Yellow Pages since 1997 and each year distributes 200,000 directories free of charge to the public. For more information one may phone 2125 2252 or visit www.yellowpages.com.mt
