Meanwhile, Maltese boxers Haithem Laamous and Keith Azzopardi have just completed another week of training in Norwich, England, as guests of Glen Saffer, of the Kingfisher Boxing Club.
Laamous and Azzopardi practised three times daily and focused mainly on improving their skills and techniques also thanks to the excellent sparing with the likes of pro boxers Liam Walsh, Rayan Walsh, Sam Sexton and other top ranking boxers.
The training programme was held on the initiative of the Malta Boxing Federation with the assistance of UK-based Nino Spiteri and Julian Borg.
