Officers and gentlemen

The officers and men of the Armed Forces who were passing through the Rabat bypass, from Siġġiewi to Rabat on a recent Friday morning proved to be very humane and compassionate. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts.

They stopped to protect a cruelly treated dog until we could take it in for care, even though the AFM men were in the middle of their exercise routine at the time.

We also wish to thank most heartily the Happy Paws Clinic for their continuous support, especially to all strays. We thank Dr Alex and Ms Maike for their immediate help. They all help to make Malta a better place.

If I may add a suggestion: anyone who purchases a pedigree dog from a breeder should always insist on seeing the parents first, to ensure that the breeders are law-abiding and keeping their dogs in good condition.
