The Malta Sports Council has started accepting registrations for children to take part in Skolasport swimming lessons at the heated national pool at the Tal-Qroqq Sports Complex, which recently underwent extensive refurbishment.

Swimming lessons are available for children aged between four and 10, for young people aged between 11 and 16, and specialised lessons for adults.

The council's philosophy is to teach swimming for leisure, which basically means teaching the participants how to enjoy and become more familiar with swimming.

All those interested in joining the courses may contact the council at the Cottonera Sports Complex on 2166 0658/9, e-mail programmes@sportmalta. org.mt or by downloading the application form from the website www.sport malta.org.mt.

Applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.
