A 30-hour course on disability studies will be held between April 13 and June 10 between 5 and 8 p.m. at the University Residence, Robert Mifsud Bonnici Street, Lija.

The course will attempt to help participants reflect on the notions encapsulating the disability experience. The aim is to allow participants to develop a better understanding of the disabling barriers that limit opportunities for social inclusion.

The course is intended for those working or planning to work in the community.

The tutor of the course is Andrew Azzopardi, a lecturer within the Department of Youth and Community Studies at the University of Malta.
