New Jeanneau models top of the range

Two flagshship models from the Jeanneau range hold an unequalled top of the range position in the large yacht category.

Their finish is exceptional and the combination of elegant hull, innovative feel to the deck plan and modernity of the interior on the Jeanneau 53 and 57 have won the hearts of the sailing community.

During sea trials in the north of France, exceptional results were achieved across the board. All tests relating to performance, with both furling and fully battened sails, have exceeded expectations.

Further results proved manoeuverability with short-handed crew and comfort on board whether on deck or down below.

New technical solutions have been introduced, such as the innovative companionway with two large sliding doors and retracting wash boards, the latest generation engines that are impressively silent; top of the range made-to-measure sails and the latest generation of Harken electric winches.

Worthy sailing performance enriches the delight of the new Jeanneau yachts. From the drawing boards of Philippe Briand come the long waterlines and careful weight distribution that ensures speed and seaworthiness.

Philippe Briand, in collaboration with concept and design consultants, has exploited the interior spaciousness to the full. Rich materials are found throughout, including leather, blond teak flooring and stainless steel. The splendid contemporary saloons reflect the nautical heritage and are bathed with light. The Jeanneau 53 and 57 can accommodate between six to 10 people in a three, four, or five-cabin layout with private head compartments. They provide views in every direction through their generous side and front windows along the deck and hull.
