Dhalia, Fort Cambridge at Stockholm property fair
Dhalia's Luxury Living and the Fort Cambridge project held two seminars and the international property fair 'Living abroad' in Stockholm last month.
The fair, held at the Globen Arena, is one of the most prestigious and largest property fairs in Scandinavia. This year it was attended by over 4,000 visitors.
Prior to attending the fair, Dhalia Real Estate hosted two half-day seminars at Hotel Anglaise, Stockholm. The seminars were addressed by Malta's counsellor and chargé d'affaires in Denmark Deborah Attard Montaldo, Gap Developments director Paul Attard, Maltese tax consultant John Huber, from John Huber and Associates, and Inger Soderlund of Maltamaklarna, Dhalia business partner in Sweden.
The seminars were attended by more than 150 delegates. Both seminars sought to explain the local tax regime and regulations when buying property in Malta and information on retirement and holidaying in Malta.
Mr Attard spoke on Gap Developments' latest project Fort Cambridge, a 341 freehold residential project in Tignè, Sliema. Michael Mifsud, manager of Dhalia's Luxury Living, said "the response received from previous visits to Stockholm has encouraged us to return and promote Maltese properties in this interesting market. In fact, our investment in this market is creating various opportunities, and a number of visitors ask about Malta. A few of these visitors have already confirmed their visit to Malta next month."
