Premier League joint-leaders Birkirkara will be without Paul Fenech and Branko Nisevic for their next match after both were suspended by the Malta FA, yesterday.

Fenech and Nisevic were handed one-match bans for a fourth yellow card in Birkirkara's 2-1 victory over Sliema Wanderers. They will skip the match against Qormi on Saturday.

Qormi were also affected by the Disciplinary Commissioner's decisions as their winger Ryan Deguara was handed a one-match ban.

Josef Mifsud and John Mintoff, both of Sliema, will be out of the reckoning for the match against Tarxien Rainbows on Sunday to serve a one-match ban.

Tarxien will be without their inspirational schemer Denni Rocha dos Santos who was also suspended for one match.

The other player on the suspensions list yesterday was Dingli Swallows midfielder Etienne Farrugia. He was given a one-match ban for a red card he incurred during the weekend 3-2 upset to Msida St Joseph.

Farrugia will skip his team's match against Ħamrun Spartans later on this month.
