A spiritual mission in Dingli fulfilled

It is with great satisfaction that the Holy Name Society has recently ended the week of a spiritual mission in the beautiful village of Dingli.

During this week our members visited various wine bars, political clubs, the band club and the football club as well as the local primary school and Savio College.

They also had the opportunity to speak to the members of the Dingli Women's Club and to the members of the Society of Christian Doctrine known as MUSEUM. Various Masses as well as Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament were also organised in this parish.

The principal aim of this mission was to encourage people to glorify God at all times and to lessen as much as possible the use of the Holy Name of God in vain. We are happy to say that we were warmly welcomed in this village and many invited us to visit them again. We sincerely hope that our work bore fruit and will continue to have an effect in the future.

The Holy Name Society sincerely thanks the parish priest of Dingli, Rev. Fr Norman Zammit, as well as the presidents and committee members of the clubs, the proprietors of various bars, the heads of school and all those who cooperated to make this mission a success.

We are sure that God will transform our humble efforts into a multitude of graces upon us and upon all those who patiently listened to our messages.
