Police investigate 'theft of tools'

A man is being held for questioning by the police after he was found in possession of tools taken from a building under construction in Mosta, yesterday, the police said.

The police said they went to investigate a report that a theft was probably in progress at the building in Autumn Street.

During a search, the police noted a man coming out of the building with a variety of objects mainly tools used in the construction trade. The man was taken away for questioning.

Magistrate Audrey Demicoli is holding an inquiry as police investigations continue.
